I think UMa is the best answer to congress , who is involved in cheap level of politics and playing communal games to win UP election A day after being fielded as a candidate in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, BJP leader Uma Bharati
today said she will work for the defeat of Congress in the state the
way she made Digvijaya Singh “bite the dust” in Madhya Pradesh.
Hitting back at prince of congress Rahul for his reported remarks that Bharti was from Madhya Pradesh though she was contesting from Uttar Pradesh, she said the young leader should remember that his mother Sonia Gandhi is from Italy and has been accepted in India.
“…I only come from Madhya Pradesh. Rahul Gandhi has to remember the background of his mother. Only then he should comment on his bua (aunt),” she told reporters here.
Bharti, who has been fielded from Charkari in Bundelkhand region, said she had made Rahul’s “guru” Digvijaya Singh “bite the dust” in Madhya Pradesh.
“Now guru-chela (teacher-disciple) are in Uttar Pradesh, I will repeat what I had done to them in Madhya Pradesh,” she said.
Coming down hard on the Centre’s move to provide 4.5 percent sub-quota to minorities within the 27 percent quota for OBCs, the BJP leader said, “Congress will pay heavily for its divisive policies. While the minority should get education and employment, it should not be at the cost of OBCs
