Indian Media for sale

Recent incidence in media industry has proven that on going corruption wave in India have not spared electric and print New Media as well . There were days when journalism is use to example for honesty .Journalist laid their life to keep the dignity high , but now a days every thing say . Yesterday when I was going through Global Mail and There was report that a media giant ask for money to remain unbiased about the Launch of Cheapest Tablet AKASH. When Montreal based company Data wind denied to pay bribe this media giant went with all four cylinders report against akash . Ironically this Media giant is comparing Akash with IPAD 2 .They Are just comparing qualities not about price. This giant Shamelessly saying that this cheapest tablet speed is slow comparing to IPAD but they did not tell that IPAD cost more then 600 $ comparing to Akash 50 $ . This was just a example . I just noticed a another example of corrupt Indian Media on the day election in Punjab. When Election commissioned banned all kinds of opinion polls about election , this media ignored all warning and kept on telecasting biased reports in favor of congress party .They tried every thing to woo voter for congress. When a religious sect announced his support on based of candidates , while few TV channels kept on saying that this support was for congress. One could clearly says that these TV channels were reporting under some influence .Election commission which is also known to favoring congress all the time just turned blind eye to all these favored telecast . Election commission just issued a warning. But Damage is done .Democracy has been hijacked by these unbiased reports. Every Body knew that about 1-2% votes get influenced , which is enough to change the verdict of elections . Though it seems it wont make any difference this time , but it uncovered the true face of media in India
